How to Use Essential Oils? Part 2
Salam and hi guys!
I hope you guys are doing great today. Today, I just want to continue on how to use the essential oils. Previously, I've written about how you can use it aromatically, so today, I will continue with how you can use it topically.
The key to use essential oils topically is DILUTION with this motto in mind, LESS IS MORE! Follow this simple dilution ratio.

For carrier oils you can use either coconut oil, olive oil, sunflower oil, almond oil, vegetable oil etc. My favorite is Young Living's V6. It absorbs quickly and it is non-sticky. I've tried applying it on my little brother whose skin is super sensitive and he does not have any problem with V6. For my face serum, I used Rosehip Oil. Jojoba oil can also be used but it all depends on what you want to achieve and your skin type.
So, where to apply the essential oils?
1. On the bottom of your feet is the best place.
2. On your wrist
3. Back of neck
4. Behind your ears
There are essential oils that you can opt for NEAT application, which means you don't have to dilute. But you also need to remember that essential oils are potent, and dilution is required for babies, toddlers and young children.
I use orange and lemon neat on my sons toes to activate their brain. I applied less than a drop and massage on their big toes.
I guess that is all for today.
Feel free to comment and share if you have any other informatiin on topical use of essential oils. Would love to learn more.
Love,
Aishah
